This rug is exactly as pictured. The watercolor shading is very soothing. The blues which fade into and out-of the brick reds and yellows have hues of navy and denim. It was just perfect for my room. The nap is very low and tight and I probably need to put a pad underneath but haven't done so as yet. I can actually sweep it for a quick clean but most often use a vac. Since I put it down the only problem I've noticed is a few pulls but those are a result of my dogs nails not having been trimmed soon enough. I now have this rug in two sizes and am considering another one for a third area. I think you would be well pleased with this carpet.
