I’m really happy with this rug. In person it looks just like the picture on Amazon. I got the size 9x12. The dark green is a tad deeper ,close to charcoal and looks black in pics. I took both day and night pics but don’t let the pics dissuade you; I promise.Trust me on this, I’m very picky and I’m a professional color analyst with a great eye for color and detail. For whatever reason this rug just isn’t photogenic , but in person it’s perfect. It’s similar to taking a pic of newspaper print , it’s deceiving . Also there were no faded areas common in vintage/boho rugs that look distressed so that was a plus !I had been looking for an area rug for almost a year in stores and online . Unfortunately nothing really grabbed my attention nor looked better than the rug I already had.THEN the vaporizer /humidifier in my living room somehow leaked water out of the bottom and onto my very thick higher priced shag area rug. I soaked it up the best I could. But days later it got a horrible musty smell. It also leaked through to my apartments wall to wall carpet beneath it . So I had to toss my area rug out then steam clean and dry my wall to wall carpet. My room looked naked ! I like how a rug separated my living room and dining area in my open concept layout.So in a pinch I noticed that this rug saved on my Amazon list had dropped in price and could get here quick. I was excited but also anxious.I didn’t see any reviews for this green floral rug, so I took a gamble since it can be returned . Then after I ordered it; to my shock I realized there actually were several reviews on this rug under the name ‘floral’ not green floral. I was horrified as the rug pics ppl posted looked nothing like the Amazon pic . The reviewers were saying they wished the green was brighter.In a panic I wrote the seller who quickly responded and reassured me the rug was green. I was prepared to not even drag it out of the packaging if I didn’t like it. I’m glad I unfolded the entire rug with the help of my son . It easily laid flat without much fussing . There are still a couple of creases and ripples I haven’t worked out yet , but wanted to get this review up incase anyone else needs a rug asap before Christmas . It coordinated perfectly with my other green accents and sofa pillows , especially the Christmas ones. It’s very soft, thin and easy to place down. It literally elevates the look of my room. It doesn’t look cheap and the design doesn’t bother me. That’s a huge sensory issue for me as certain patterns overwhelm me. That’s why I steered away from the overly boho , geometric and tribal patterns, to this softer floral pattern. It fit all my calculations and concerns ! IEven over my carpet I think an added rug pad would give more cushion, but it works for now !
